AIGLX, Compiz-Quinnstorm and Mplayer

So I'm back to using AIGLX and Compiz-Quinnstorm, and am generally happy with it. Still some tweaking left to smooth everything out.

Anyway, here's the big problem thats bugging me now:
It seems like mplayer windows are being treated differently than others. I.E., they won't wobble, but more importantly, when they're out of focus, they go black. In XGL, this wasn't a problem.

Is there anyway around this?

It should be noted that I didn't do a great job switching from XGL to AIGLX. Things started working and I stopped about half way through.
Basically, I just added AIGLX to my xserver as emerged from the xgl-overlay, and used my existing compiz-quinnstorm installation. Do I need to apply the aiglx patches to compiz-quinnstorm to get this to work?

gl and gl2 didn't work normally for me.
it seems that there is some problem with using most of the opengl apps along with beryl for now.
at least crack-attack performs extremely slow.

for me xv does the best, though it lacks brightness/contrast/saturation changing :(
I have even noticed a funny thing that CPU load decreases by 5% when I move around the window with movie.
(seems like drawing mplayer output to offscreen buffer and than processing it with beryl is faster than just plain output :))

What I can suggest is to uncheck 'Undredirect Fullscreen Windows' - it breaks video playback for me when going fullscreen.
And also while playing with beryl-manager I've noticed that "strict binding" option slows down overall performance and also breaks video playback.
