[SOLVED] mplex Need to split output but there appears no %d

I'm getting an error with mplex
mplex -f 8 -o final.mpg family_movie.m2v family_movie.ac3
*ERROR: [mplex] Need to split output but there appears to be no %d in the filename pattern final.mpg

Does anybody have any solutions?

I think this is caused by the resulting mpg being over 2GB in size.

There is an option, I think its '-S 0', that will prevent the split.

Do 'mplex --help' for more details.

SOLVED

No the -S 0 doesn't work
The solution is to add %d to the file, like this:
mplex -f 8 -o final.%d.mpg family_movie.m2v family_movie.ac3
