Gentoo gurus,

What do you do to monitor CPU speed when you use KDE? I couldnt find a single decent applet.. may be I need to hone my googling skills :-)

thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks, this is usefull. I installed it. However I'll see if there are others.

Things I didnt like about it are: 1. it also shows temp, which I am not interested into and it wastes some space :) and 2. When the applet's width doesnt remain constant during updates, so that gives a jerky effect on panel..

no big problems but gnome's monitor was better..

I use app-admin/gkrellm with x11-plugins/gkrellm-plugins (http://www.gkrellm.net/) to interact with cpufreq

Perhaps the complete gkrellm is big for you but I think that you could disable to display all the stuff except the cpufreq informations

what about integrating a ksysguard sheet containing "cpu0->clock frequency" into a panel with the system guard applet?
Moved to using Arch Linux
