Bittorrent using multiple connections

Hey everyone,

Is it possible to use bittorrent with multiple internet connections? For example, let's say I have a laptop connected to a wireless network A with internet. I also have a desktop PC connected to a network B with internet (A and B = different ISPs). The laptop is also connected to the network B with a cable (it is on 2 networks), allowing it to communicate with the desktop through LAN. So the laptop could download bittorrent data, for example, along with the desktop, making the transfer twice as fast. Would this be possible? Or would the file(s) get corrupted? Thanks.

From a protocol point of view, there shouldn't be any problems.

However, I don't know of any client that will allow for this type of functionality, and running two clients, one on each interface would probably cause problems (overwriting each other's data) since they're not aware of each other.
