install with lvm error!

when i use lvm2 , i had following error:


livecd lvm # lvcreate -L5G -nhome vg
/etc/lvm/backup: fsync failed: Invalid argument
device-mapper ioctl cmd 9 failed: Invalid argument
Couldn't load device 'vg-home'.
Failed to activate new LV.


how to solve it ?

following the doc at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/lvm2.xml, look at Code Listing 2.4.
You can ignore this warning.

I cant figure out the proper grub.conf for the generic LVM with reiserfs root.
Do you have any pointers?
