Firefox and X forwarding?

Hello all...

I'm trying to use firefox over a forwarded x session using ssh.

My purpose is to ssh from my desktop to my laptop (which is hooked up in my entertainment center) and start firefox so that I can use http://www.pandora.com and have the audio come out of my stereo system.

I am doing:

ssh -X laptop

And I can run "xterm" just fine... but when I try to start firefox all it does is just return. No error, nothing.

Any ideas?

Nevermind, I figured it out....

It was somehow seeing that I had firefox already open on my local box... and so it wasn't starting another instance. All I had to do was close my local one.

Something that's interesting... firefox is _slow_ over X forwarding. I've got a 54Mbit connection to my laptop right now (it's on wireless... but has good signal) and I figured X forwarding would be a lot faster than that!

Also... the whole sound thing didn't work out for whatever reason... but I think I have a different idea...
