TV-Out, Radeon X300SE, and os radeon driver?

TV-Out, Radeon X300SE, and os radeon driver?
Does anyone know of a convenient way to get TV-out working on newer Radeon cards using the opensource radeon driver? I can get TV-out to work with the fglrx module, but then my computer hardlocks whenever X shuts down, and given the options between having proper OpenGL/DRI and being able to kill X without hardlocking the system, I'd take the latter if I could. I've looked a little bit at GATOS's website, but there's no reference to any cards newer than the 9200....
