Install problems.

blahblah blah the rest isn't important.

Well this sucks, especially consitering that if I wrap wget with a script like

echo ***** ARGUMENTS: $*
wget $*

and clearing /usr/portage/distfiles, I get the following during an emerge, then emerge fails with the above error.

If I run wget with the arguments, and then run emerge again, it runs fine up until the next dependency. Oh yeah, if I try and untar the file in /usr/portage/distfiles directly after running emerge, it fails. What's touching that archive file?[/code]
