I've looked through the emerge documentation, but can't seem to find an option to make emerge display a list of packages installed on my system.
Anyone know how?

emerge -evp world should list all package in your system, i think...

not in portage as such, but looks pretty good
I haven't tried the emerge command above, but if it doesn't work, you might have a look at this. I haven't tried it, so YMMV.
