I've been having this problem for a long time, I think ever since the 1.4 beta ebuilds started coming out. Tunepimp issue? I've tried building against different versions of tunepimp but it doesn't seem to change anything. Anyone know what the deal is?

michael3,

I've been getting this same error since a few versions of amarok. The only way I have found to make it emerge is to do it with the " -real" flag.

Compiles and works fine here.

Code: Select all

Q ~ # emerge -pv amarok tunepimp

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!

Try compiling it with -opengl

It worked for me that way.

Hm...
Interesting.

Well, I am using Juke in my KDE. But I tried out amaroK in Suse once, and know that its nice.

But when I want to emerge amaroK it is Blocked by KDE's Multimedia package... do you know whz that is?

thx,
eis

i think amarok is included in the kde-multimedia meta package. either that, or juk is. try uninstalling the meta and install individual packages?
