fluxbox+bbrb and transparency

Today I've emerged FLUXBOX ... it's really cool 8O and light
I've emerged bbrb too, and now ...

How can I setup transparency to my aterm (or eterm)??

The problem is that using bbrb I can change background image at any moment and using Esetroot at boot probably doesn't work well
Please EU, pimp my country!

I use Waimea and Eterm so maybe my Eterm command will help:

Code: Select all

# Eterm --buttonbar 0 --scrollbar 0 --shade 50 -O --double-buffer -f white --font-fx none -x
A little tiptoe through the man pages tells us that
"-O" turns on transparency and
"--shade 50" tints it

Here's my aterm menu command from my fluxbox menu file

Code: Select all

aterm +sb -rv -tr -sh 50 -fn fixed -ls -sl 2000 -fn sabvga -fb sabvga
I believe -tr turns on the transparency and -sh 50 is the shading (50%)

You can get further help by typing 'man aterm' in your console.

Hope that helps.

Code: Select all

Unable to locate desktop window [...] please set your background with Esetroot
but aterm works VERY WELL :D
