Test creation administration and grading on my web site

  • Quote

Post by Randy R » Mon May 01, 2006 6:31 pm

I have a need to administer tests at many separate geographic locations. I would like to do it on the web with the person being tested having been authenticated, and then that peson would actually take the test on line. I have found some commercial applications, but wonder if any one is aware of something gentoo or gnu.

Suggestions are welcome.

A quick search on SourceForge.net for "exam administration" came up with this:

http://www.tecnick.com/public/code/cp_d ... _dp=tcexam

looks pretty robust, well-developed, and well-supported at first glance. Good luck!

Moved from Gentoo Chat to Networking & Security as Gentoo Chat isn't a support forum.

Sorry to have put this in the wron place. It didn't seem to fit any where very well.

Also, Thanks sketelsen. I am trying it out now.

I found a number of propriatary soultions that were for the most part too expensive or did not appear to be well developed.

Unfortunately I have been working through an upgrade on my test bed machine and haven't got this working yet. I think I'm getting close to being able to try it though. I'll update when I get it installed.
