Got mail ... How to check?

Hi Folks,

I've got an entry like this in my syslog:

Mar 29 08:15:21 blackbox sSMTP[16751]: Sent mail for root@blackbox (221 Bye)

it's a mostly fresh installed system ... how do I check this system mails?

mail and mailq say the mail queue is empty.

can set up ssmtp to email it to you...I have all my system emails sent to admin@blahblah.net here is a linky to check out...
