this is my problem:
I want to use an airport extreme base station as my ap. In my PC I have installed a D-Link DWL-500 wlan-card. I've installed pcmcia-cs and the drivers load correctly. With iwconfig I can see the correct SSID for my wlan, the correct MAC-address of the base station, etc. everything looks good.
But now comes the ugly part of the story: The PC should use DHCP to get its ip-adress and everyting else. But dhcpcd times out. When I connect my PC to the base station by wire everything works fine.
Does anyone know what the problem might be? Any hints, tips, etc?
