simple question about kde and autostart (and firestarter)

Hi!

I installed Firestarter firewall, and put it to autostart using Konqueror (sudo firestarter). As far as I understand, it works now. It detects hits etc. I had some problems putting it to autostart before noticing that it can be done with Konqueror. I'm not quite sure what all I tried, but now every time I log into KDE I get something weird looking like this:

- - - -

X Run as root - KDE su
----------------------------
The action you requested requires root priviledges. [...]

Command: firestarter '--sm-config-prefix' '/firestarter-ws9Jbz/' '--sm-client-id' '[long queue of numbers]' '--screen' '0'

Passwd:

[...]

- - - -

The message looks different every time I log in, but is always essentially like that. How do I get rid of it and what does it mean? There should not be other programs in autostart, and "rc-update show" does not mention firestarter.

I am new in the linux world...

Cheers,
srz

Hi

It may help to add firestarter to programs excluded from management in Session Manager in KDECC (I asume that you create shortcut to firestarter like describe on firestarter page)

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean, or how to do that. I'm not very familiar with KDE or anything :). Where should I add "firestarter"?
