[SOLVED] Freecell

Post by papal_authority » Sun Jan 22, 2006 9:29 pm

Anyone know of a decent freecell game or indeed any other decent solitaire type card games for *nix? I tried xfreecell and it's ugly as sin. I also tried the GNOME games collection and surprisingly there were no card games in it.

papal_authority,

Code: Select all

AisleRiot provides a rule-based solitaire card engine that allows many different games to be played.
and it installs with GNOME too

Well this is weird, when I emerge gnome-games, I get every game on this list except AisleRiot :?

If you're using KDE, kpat is good (part of kdegames if you're using monolithic KDE). it has a wide range of single player card games including all your favorites that Windows also includes freecell, solitaire and spider

Hmm well I don't have KDE and I nevered figured out why GNOME games didn't include AisleRiot. However between PySol and the Cards plugin for Firefox, I have this solved.

Why isn't the use-flag guile enabled by default for gnome-games ??? 8O
