So I asked tech support who responded:
So, what does Fedora do that Gentoo doesn't? I'm using a Foxconn NF4K8MC-ERS, with a NForce4 chipset. I'm using gentoo-sources 2.6.14-gentoo-r2 and I'ld rather not switch over to Fedora. Any thoughts?The Cool 'n' Quiet is working under Fedora Core 4. Please update/upgrade your distribution. At lease, update your kernel.
