Cool 'n' Quiet, Apparently it works on Fedora

I recently got an AMD64 for it's Cool 'n' Quiet. After installing gentoo, it gave me:

powernow-k8: BIOS Error - no PSB or ACPI _PSS objects
Niiice. I searched around and found a BIOS update might do the trick. No go. :evil:
So I asked tech support who responded:
The Cool 'n' Quiet is working under Fedora Core 4. Please update/upgrade your distribution. At lease, update your kernel.
So, what does Fedora do that Gentoo doesn't? I'm using a Foxconn NF4K8MC-ERS, with a NForce4 chipset. I'm using gentoo-sources 2.6.14-gentoo-r2 and I'ld rather not switch over to Fedora. Any thoughts?

Could you please post your .config (the configuration file that you built your kernel with). Also, use the following command before posting:

sed -e 's/#.*//;/^\s*$/d' "$@" /usr/src/linux/.config > /usr/src/linux/sed.config
And then post the content of the file /usr/src/linux/sed.config which is now cleaned out of all those lines commented out (unset properties).

I had that as well but it did work. I think emerging powernowd fixed it.
