Can't configure internet (eth0)

Hi. I'm from Poland. On Polish forum they helped me a lot but I still don't have an internet in Gentoo. I hope you'll be able to help me. When I type

I connect to net by PPPoE. When set everything in "adsl-setup" and then "adsl-start" it's "TIMED OUT". But this can be interesting: after typing "adsl-status" the message is

adsl-status: Link is down (can't read pppoe PID file /var/run/adsl.pid.pppoe).

In windows I just set my username and password and it JUST WORKS. In Gentoo I've been fighting with this problem for about 2 weeks . Help me solve this problem!
