Hi.I have a serious problem with my router and i hope i describe it well with my not so good english.Well i have a conceptronic router, adsl connection and a dreambox sat receiver which has ethernet card and i want to make a network.Well when running

Code: Select all

 dhcpcd -d eth0
i get an ip like 10.110.xx.xxx which is an ip given by a provider who has the monopoly of internet in cyprus. After i login to my providers website where i take my external ip which is 194.30.xxx.xxx.Well i know that i must enable DMZ in order to forward signal to dreambox receiver but unfortunely DMZ in my router belongs to firewall rules :(
So i put dreambox ip into a virtual server in NAT rules but it dont forward signal there.
On my status in router i get the following info:

Code: Select all

Attain IP Protocol : Dynamic IP connect
IP Address : 10.110.xx.xxx
Subnet Mask : 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway : 10.110.x.x
MAC Address : 00:0E:2E:0B:13:BE
Primary DNS : 192.168.x.xxx

steelrose,

I don't understand how your network is wired or where its broken. Your IP numbers 10.x.x.x and 192.168.x.x are private (non routable) IPs so you can quote them in full.

Can you do a picture showing how your network is wired. what IPs are assigned to what interfaces and where it fails.
ASCII art in a code block is fine.
