Least I could do :D
It worked like a charm, at least because the filesize was divisible by 4 so all 4 splitted files were the same size.
It took a lot of time to run but it was on a 466 MHz Celeron :)

I also tested the disk (of course) and all was as it should be...

Nice to hear about ISOLINUX loader, I was waiting for this.
This patch would be diff from 2.60 to 2.60.3 or from 2.60.2 to 2.60.3 (or from 2.60.2a)?
I suppose that it is diff from 2.60 to .3
Could you make also that diffs (2.60.2-2.60.3 and 2.60.2a-2.60.3), if it's not so hard for you?
It will be great.
Now I have only 2.60.2a.iso.

Damn--I want this! However, does anyone know if SATA/SATA-II for DVD readers/writers is built in through enabling such in libata.h? It would be a waste for me and others to download the iso, burn the image and find that we can't boot the kernel and use it.

As I told you in the PM, RR4 might support your SATA DVD. You should tell me what SATA chipset you have ;)

I have downloaded RR4 iso and burned it on to dvd. I have clicked on install on harddrive. I followed the process, assigning IP, hard drive space, and packages I want to build in make.conf. then Clicked Finish. My system has been sitting Idle for the last 3 hours with a window saying Preparing. I opened a virtual console and type mount and my harddrive wasn't even mounted. What do I need to do to install RR4?

Thanks

What version do you have ? A Plain 2.60? If so, please upgrade to 2.60.3 or at least to 2.60.2.

i'm getting the latest beta of azureus right now so I can download your live dvd. I really appreciate your work because it has saved me many times when something goes screwy with a new kernel and reiser4.

one question, does this have reiser4 1.0.5 support? I recently converted my reiser4 partition to that so I have been stuck using 2.6.14 kernels and they aren't all too stable.

anyways, i got lots of bandwidth (4MB/s up and down) and I want to help your torrent out.

Is the 2.60-to-2.60.3.tar.bz2 patch damaged? Tar reports "Unexpected EOF in archive" when I try to uncompress it. It could of course have been damaged when I downloaded it; the md5sum of my file is 11acdf505da048105318431aee3e1dea - what is the correct md5?
