Wireless Network setup

I would like to install gentoo linux from the liveCD using my wireless network connection (It is all i have access to at the moment) I don't have any other network options at this time.

My adapter is a WUSB11 version 2.6

Like I said, I would like to use it with the liveCD to download during install. I have seen nothing for this anywhere.

If anybody has any ideas it would be greatly apreciated.

from what i heard, the gentoo live cd doesnt support wireless connections during the install. i think if you run the installation from a knoppix live cd you will be able connect to your network. never having done this i dont know how its done.

I cannot get my adapter to work in knoppix. I have no idea why, but the only linxu distro i have been able to get it to work in is Mandrake 10.0 (however i cannot get it to work in mandrake 10.1)

if the livecd doesn't support it, then help getting it to work in knoppix would be a great help.
