MailScanner..postfix..clamav..spamd

Hi,

Ik heb clamAV geinstallierd en nu als ik wil clamAV opstarten dan krijg ik volgende error:

* Starting clamd...
ERROR: Please edit the example config file /etc/clamd.conf.
ERROR: Can't open/parse the config file /etc/clamd.conf
* Failed to start clamd [ !! ]

* Starting freshclam...
ERROR: Please edit the example config file /etc/freshclam.conf.
ERROR: Please edit the example config file /etc/clamd.conf.
ERROR: Can't parse the config file /etc/clamd.conf
* Failed to start freshclam

Ik werkt niet onder GUI, gewoon in opdrachtpromp. Moet ik persee onder GUI werken om clam op te startten?

Jah, graag. Want ik heb niks kunnen vinden in .conf bestanden. Er zit wel heleboel tekst, maar ik kan me niet voorstellen dat wel helpt, als ik iets in de configuratie wijzig. Maar als jij dat weet Krolden, kun je mieschien specefiek zijn met je opllosing?

Ik had het wel gegoogeld oohr, toen had ik de volgende websites gevonden:

Maar die zijn niet echt duidelijk voor me. Trouwens in gentoo-wiki staat ook heel veel. http://gentoo-wiki.com/Special:Search?s ... ext=Search . Ik zal het even jouw likjes proberen , als ik niet uit kom , dan laat ik dat weten.

Het gaat mij om conf bestand en dat wil liever aanpassen pas als ik kennis betije opbouw. Ik ga niet alleen maar aan de hand van een manual iets aanpassen.

Het gaat mij om conf bestand en dat wil liever aanpassen pas als ik kennis betije opbouw. Ik ga niet alleen maar aan de hand van een manual iets aanpassen.

1. Hij had het over de config file
2. Je wilt kennis opdoen maar niet datgene wat in de manual staat toepassen, contradictio in terminis?
3. De defaults in de voorbeeld config file zijn erop gericht om goed en veilig genoeg te zijn voor 90+% van de users.

ik ben tijdje beizig geweest om MailScanner, clamav, spamd te installieren. Het is me gelukt , clam av, spamassassin, postfix starten op, alleen ik heb twijfels aan MailScanner. Volgende heb ik geprobeerd:

azerix portage # /etc/init.d/postfix start
* Starting postfix ...canner broken [ ok ]
azerix portage # /etc/init.d/postfix stop
* Stopping postfix ...Scanner broken' [ ok ]
azerix portage # /etc/init.d/postfix start
* Starting postfix ...tc/init.d/MailScanner-mta [ ok ]
azerix portage # /etc/init.d/postfix stop
* Stopping postfix ...tc/postfix/header_checks [ ok ]
azerix portage # /etc/init.d/postfix start
* Starting postfix ...tc/init.d/MailScanner [ ok ]

Vervolgens heb ik geprobeerd om al die programma handmatig starten, dus postfix , clamd , spamd die starten allemaal op zonder probleemen. En als ik MailScanner probeerd handmatig opstarten /etc/init.d/MailScannet start dan krijg ik volgende foutmelding

* ERROR: Some services needed are missing. Run
* './MailScanner broken' for a list of those
* services. "MailScanner" was not started.

Vervolgens probeer ik de volgende /etc/init.d/MailScanner-mta start en dan krijg ik de volgende waarschuwing

* checking MTA availability for MailScanner ...
Cannot find postfix and/or postfix configuration files,
Check /etc/conf.d/MailScanner-mta [ !! ]
* DO NOT USE EXIT IN INIT.D SCRIPTS
* This IS a bug, please fix your broken init.d

Kan het zijn dat MailScanner start op op de achtergrond pas als de postfix is opgestart ? Want deze bericht kreeg ik toen ik postfix had opgestard :

azerix portage # /etc/init.d/postfix start
* Starting postfix ...tc/init.d/MailScanner-mta [ ok ]
