error emerging gnome

hi, i get an error emerging gnome from scratch:

Code: Select all

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/../../../../i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lnautilus-burn
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [sound-juicer] Error 1
it can't find nautilus-burn library?
I already emerged gnome-extra/nautilus-cd-burner, I don't care about other cd-burning software, I use cdrecord, is there a way to exclude sound-juicer from "emerge gnome"?

Instead of

Code: Select all

emerge gnome
you could do a

Code: Select all

emerge gnome-light
wich doesnt install all this overhead ;)

For me, it looks like gcc cannot find the nautilus-burn libraries. Did anyone experience the same?

Installing gnome-light is not a proper sollution, because I want that overheaded stuff... ;-)

reemerge nautilus

Before you can merge media-sound/sound-juicer from ~x86 you need to remerge nautilus and nautilus-cd-burner from~x86. That fixed the Problem for me.

When you are not using ~x86 then try to remerge your nautilus and nautilus-cd-burner Version.

Good luck
