Gnome 2.10 menus buggy by nature?

hi, i emerged smeg so i could finally edit my gnome menus, my problem is that what smeg says is there doesnt match up with whats actually there, smeg origonal said there was an audacity menu tiem in miscelaneus and one in audio visual, so i told it not to show the one in misclaneaus and it waas ok. but then i decided to add an icon to my audacity and for some reason as soon as i add the icon another audacity menu entry comes up under sound/video without an icon although my version with an icon stays, also limewire has an icon in smeg, but the icon doesnt show up in the gnome menu, anyone else getting wierd buggy stuff like this in thier menus...? maybe this is why they didnt include a menu editor by default..

perhaps the problem is in smeg and not the menus themselves.
