mplayer don't use my USE

hi all,

i have some hardware optimization in my make.conf:
USE="mmx, sse, sse2, ..."

when emerging mplayer and then starting it i have something like this (not in front of my linux box):

Mplayer started
CPU...
MMX supported but not compiled with
SSE supported but not compiled with

i have also added to /etc/portage/portage.use (or something like that). what can i do?

Please post the results of the following commands:

emerge -pv --nodeps mplayer

Do you actually have the commas in your USE flags? If so, I think removing them should help (I'm not 100% sure, but I've NEVER seen USE flags with commas, so that could be your problem; just separate the flags with a single space).
