What happened to the screenshot threads? I really liked them.

When they moved from gentoo chat to OTW I couldn't find it either but used the search option helped me

Im curious to know just how much bandwidth the various screenshot threads use.

Im also curious to know if this is simply a monthly gentoo ritual, or if other distro's communities do this as well.

it's probably a gentoo ritual, but a really cool one /me thinks!

I like it like that! I should stay on. That the posts in their are not counted anymore I totally agree with that! Although I lost some post counts from there! but that's it!

The images are all hosted on other sites, so it should be the same as any other popular thread...

I can't seem to find them anywere. I search for July Desktop, the search automatically removes desktop and i'm left with random irrelavent posts. I search for July Screenshots and I get three irrelavent posts.

Where have they gone?

Maybe these boards could use a "Gentoo graphics" forum ?

Could be good for Gentoo related screenshots, wallpapers, iconsets ...

well i can say that for people clicking on my image just since the beginning of this month has ammounted to approximate 85 meg...that's circa 400 people looking at it.
