i have a disc juggler(cdi) file that i want to burn to cdr. is there a burning program that will read this file, or some way to convert it so that i can burn it with cdrecord?

use cdirip, found at http://cdirip.freeyellow.com/download.html

I've used this many times (along with some other tools) to burn dreamcast games from linux, it works quite well.

thanks lordjoe. you hit the nail right on the head.

quick question, when i run the program i get this:

Code: Select all

$ cdirip eur-pf2x.cdi $HOME
CDIrip 0.6.2 - (C) 2002 by DeXT

Searching file: 'eur-pf2x.cdi'
Found image file. Opening...
Unsupported image version
does this mean the file i have is no good? is there some way to fix it?

thanks

cdi burning / conversion

I was able to convert it. If you get cdirip.exe (the windows binary) it easy runs under wine.

$wine cdirip.exe

It would open file dialogs, and run the conversion from the shell. However, you are left with .wav, .cur, and .iso files (1 apiece).
The cue file will instruct cdrecord to burn the wav file but not the iso, and the cd is finalized. I tried burning both with the same
command, but in order to not get a gap (wav file needs to be exactly first 300 sectors, no pregap for tracks), but that errors out.
In the meantime, I've been using cdi2nero.exe and burning with nero, but I'd prefer to avoid that method.

Any ideas?
