[Solved]"Kernel Panic"

  • Quote

Post by Ezzet » Wed Jun 22, 2005 8:39 pm

I put an Apacer-flashcard reader to my machine and now the setup stops with this message:

Kernel Panic - Not Syncing: No init found
<5> Vendor: USB2.0 Model: HS-CF Rev: 1.95
Type: direct-acces ANSI SCSI Revision: 00

I have 2.6.11-gentoo-r11 kernel and tried to find what is missing but without result!
Can anyone help me?

do you have root=/dev/sdaN ? try editing it in grub to /dev/sdbN

(N=integer)
