Hello,

Just an idiot question: how to display the fps rate while playing ?

I don't find how to do it

May anybody help me?

Yes.

Although net_graph 3 shows a more readable display.

You have to enable the console in advanced keyboard settings first.

If youre playing in cedega (which I guess is the case as this is the gentoo forums ;)), you can enable a frame rate display for every game with the

Code: Select all

; Enable the FPS count on the TransGaming HUD (also activates the HUD)
"ShowFPS" = "Y"
; Enable memory statistics on the TransGaming HUD (must have ShowFPS activated)
"ShowMem" = "Y"
options in ~/.transgaming/config

This can get in the way on some games though.

cl_showfps 2
gives a more readable output than cl_showfps 1 as it smooths the fps shown on screen]
