[nvidia + kdm] no hacen buenas migas (abierto)

Hola gentooza, tengo un problema con kdm y gdm.
Desde que he instalado los nuevos drivers de nvidia, cuando los cargo al inicio, me aparece el logo de nvidia como normalmente me pasaba, pero ahora kdm me aparece sin ventanas (la tipica ventanita de kdm, donde esta el reloj y te salen los nombres de los usuarios), solo me pide nombre de usuario y password sobre el fondo que tengo puesto en kdm (cuando escribo el usuario y pass, tampoco se ve lo que escribo) y si consigo entrar, el escritorio se vuelve loco dejando una estela por donde pasa el raton y cosas realmente raras.
Me pasa exactamente lo mismo con gdm.
Para poder funcionar con mi gentoo, tengo que utilizar el driver vesa en xorg.conf
Alguien sabe porque puede ser esto?

Supongo que has eliminado las líneas relativas a DRI y GLCore de tu xorg.conf, ¿verdad?.

ArsDangor, he probado con esas lineas habilitadas y deshabilitadas.
En cuanto llegue a casa, os posteo mi archivo de configuración, a ver si así vemos las cosas mas claras.

Me da estos errores:

Sobre lo del error de Speedo no te preocupes.

Creo que tu probema es que estas usando el driver Vesa en vez del de nVidia.
Fiajte que tienes comentado

Comenta el Vesa y descomenta nvidia a ver si se soluciona.

a mi me ha pasado lo mismo, en una instalacion que le hice aun amigo este fin de semana pasado, al fina no lo pude solucionar y como se lo queria llevar le puse el driver nv en vez del nvidia y funciona bien pero sin aceleracion grafica.
Debe de ser algun bug en la de versiones de xorg y nvidia.
o solo de los drivers de nividia.
Como se llevo el pc ya no pude sergir investigando el problema, pero en mi pc tengo el driver de nividia sin ningun problema.

hola compañeros, gracias por vuestras respuestas.

Stolz, ya lo he probado poniendo el driver en nvidia, pero me hace lo que comento en el primer post, por eso lo tengo comentado y con vesa.
salvapc, tambien probe con nv, y con este si que funciona, pero sin aceleracion.

Sabeis por que puede ser los errores que os comentaba antes?

Ummm por que no intentas hacerte un xorg.conf más limpio con

lo ajustas a tus necesidades y luego de eso te haces el

opengl-update xorg
opengl-update nvidia
arrancas nuevamente y ves como te va en el asunto

Es posible que sea un bug de esa version de drivers. ¿Has mirado en http://bugs.gentoo.org/ para ver si a alguien le pasa algo similar?.
Si no consigues arreglarlo, o bien vuelve a los drivers antiguos, o bien prueba otra version mas actual (~arc).
