Im not sure if this is the right approach, but Im told if I use aoss32 to run 32 bit binaries such as UT99 and skype, that the dmix plugin will mix with alsa.
I have 32 bit oss emulation in kernel, emul-linux-x86-sounlibs installed, alsa-oss installed.
I just want OSS 32 bit binaries to use dmix! I use the skype internet telephone program a lot, its OSS based 32 bit, and cant play anything else while Im using it, same with I cant hear if someone is calling me on it, while playing a game of UT, also OSS 32 bit..
ALSA/dmix works fantastic. just want to add OSS to the mix
