No, post to the Vega Strike forums as the VS devs do not frequent here.Xan wrote:On my 2005.0 Athlon 64 system, it doesn't work... should I post to Gentoo on AMD64?
Hmm, only an ebuild-request in http://bugs.gentoo.orgChrisM87 wrote: how about an ebuild for the remake?
Worked great! Thanks, charlie!charlieg wrote:An updated Linux installer is now available. Xan, this should fix your AMD64 issues.

You need to raise that issue in the Vega Strike forums.Xan wrote:Okay, just for the record, no it didn't, but it got closer than I've come before. The game pretty much workd, but the commodity and ship merchant areas were empty. Can't get far in the game that way!
You have to click on the blank clipboard surfaces in both areas to get to the actual trading screen.Xan wrote:Okay, just for the record, no it didn't, but it got closer than I've come before. Thanks, but that's not it... I get to the screen, it's just that there's nothing there. I've posted to both the Privateer forums and the Vegastrike forums. I also had an email conversation with Bobby Z, who's taken the first crack at an ebuild. We couldn't find the problem, and I have a fairly standard configuration with all the emul-* libraries, so it looks like an upstream issue.Voltago wrote:You have to click on the blank clipboard surfaces in both areas to get to the actual trading screen.Xan wrote:Okay, just for the record, no it didn't, but it got closer than I've come before. Can you please describe it in more detail? I am having similiar issuses (actually even more then), I have no cursor (not sw nor hw, and there is no choice in setup), and half of the screens at bases are not drawn at all.Xan wrote:Just FYI, I got it working, thanks to hellcatv over at the Vegastrike forums. Just had to use the new installer's vegastrike binary, but everything else from the normal installer. Thanks for all your help, charlieg.
