Hi people,
I just asked myself what smart or rare applications you use for your desktop and everyday use.
---------------

A few eyecandy apps i for my desktop are:
Superkaramba avaible through www.KDE-look.org
and Smoothdock also search on www.KDE-look.org

They are both in portage.
----------------

From the games side (mostly smaller games) i can recommend you:
---
CUBE - a superb ego-shooter with mind-blasting gfx (for a native-linux game) and a too small community: So JOIN! :)

website: http://wouter.fov120.com/cube/index.php4
---
Doomsday HQ - Doom, Heretic and more for your linux box
website: http://www.doomsdayhq.com/

Yo this was it for now.
What shiney apps did you find on your journey through open software.. ?
Please post it here :)

Torsmo sounds and looks great i will emerge it when im on my Linux-boot again..
Im quite sure it uses less system-power then SuperKaramba with its monitioring themes

:P
