Do not worry, I am sure there are people that old using it.

I was twelve the first time I used Gentoo.
I'm thirteen now and I use it for everything I do.

Thanks. I might just do that. :D Of course not many people outside of the Gentoo community will understand it. :)

I'm 14, started using Linux when I was 11 (Corel 1.0. Scary, huh?), moved to Gentoo last summer (I was 14 then too).

I like the pics too :D

Well, I'm not 80 yet, but when i was 15, most devs used punch cards.

Those punchard things were pretty fun to play with as I was a kid around 9 years old. They weren't used any more at the time and many people I knew had boxes of them :) Our school teacher even made some project for everyone to do out of them once hehe.

Though I'm sure if an 80+ year old person followed the manual and tried multiple times they could install gentoo :)
It is impossible to make people understand their ignorance; for it requires knowledge to perceive it and therefore he that can perceive it hath it not.

If I ten year old can do it I'm sure an old person can.
Our society is so quick to judge and discriminate againts people who aren't the majority.
That instantly leaves out young people, old people, and "Girly Men" ( and "Manly Women" )
Hopefully though this "Majority" will grow brains. :)
