gentoo 2.6.10-r6 kernel and software suspend 2

Hello.

I can't apply swsusp2 patch to gentoo kernel. Originally, swsusp2 from official site applies corectly only on vanilla kernel. Where I can get swsusp2 patch for gentoo sources?

or maybe I should use vanilla kernels? will they work normally with gentoo?

yes. vanilla sources will work with gentoo.
just take a look in /usr/portage/sys-kernels/... to see which sources are provided for use

Wondering if anyone has successfully applied the swsusp2 patch to 2.6.10-gentoo-r6. Are there any kernels that have the patch in it? If not I'll have to patch a vanilla kernel and try it at least before I worry to much about what kernel I'm running...

Well I patched the vanilla kernel and everything seems to be working well. Next step is to upgrade the kernel on my MythTV box and get things working on that.
