Post the output of the following command:

Code: Select all

fdisk -l
And didn't I tell you to enclose error messages between
(error message)
tags? You may be able to read what you post, but do not assume other people can read clearly what the error message is, if you do not use those tags to enclose them in a special formatting.

Why do you love to use bold text and not

Code: Select all

for computer output? Irritating.

The type "Extended" is wrong to begin with.

Fire up fdisk /dev/hdc, type t to change the partition type, enter 3 to select /dev/hdc3 and give it the type 82 (Linux swap).
