Connection dropped from Win2K computer

Hey guys,
I have a strange question, I've spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out what's going on, but I can't seem to get it.

I'm running the Gentoo machine as a router/firewall for my network. I set up IPTables and everything is working fine. However, every once in awhile, my connection on the Windows boxes within the local network drops. I can connect via SSH to the linux machine and ping sites on the internet, but I can't from any of the other computers.

This doesn't seem to affect my Trillian connection though...I can still message to my little heart's content. It's only the webpage viewing. I was wondering if this could be related to the fact that I'm running DNSMasq? That's the only thing that I could come up with.

To check to see if it's a DNS issue try browsing using the IP address of a server instead of the hostname. If it works with the IP address and fails with the hostname it's a DNS problem, if not it's something else.

Of course, as soon as I post something my connection doesn't go down for me. I'll definately check it out as soon as it drops again.
