xchm problem

Problems with emerge or ebuilds? Have a basic programming question about C, PHP, Perl, BASH or something else?

xchm problem

i have tried to emerge xchm to view some .chm files but i keep getting the following error:

Unset:  LDFLAGS
does this have something to do with the unset ldflags? if so...or even if not.. how can i solve this??

I had the same problem last week. After updating wxgtk from 2.4.1-r1 to 2.4.2-r3, xchm compiled succesfully.

Shouldn't that new version be unmasked so people don't waste half an hour of their lives installing a package that doesn't work?

You may file a bug so that the ebuild mantainer can adjust dependencies or solve the problem otherwise.
