A few questions:

Did somebody got the remote control working?

Did somebody got the radio working?

Did somebody got the display working.. ( http://www.siliconmotion.com.tw/bluebirdvl.htm )

If you can answer yes to any of the above questions, please tell me how you did it..

Yes (on Knoppmyth,autodetected) No on gentoo (hav'nt really tried) Having sound issues with ALSA and mega 651sound intel8x0

Every thing but lcd worked on Knoppmyth (mysettopbox.tv) but wanted all my pc's to have same distro, it's been a tough with gentoo.

You have the remote control working!! are you sure, you couldn't give me a post of lsmod to see whats loaded!!

I've also got the docs to get the flash card reader working, haven't tried out this yet..

Well i'm no longer using knoppmyth (and I'm no longer using the remote control, I got myself an mini wireless keyboard with mouse pointer http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductde ... 114&DEPA=0
I hated having a huge keyboard and sperate mouse, to do anything outside of mythtv. On Knoppmyth it autoconfigures the remote. So not even going to worry about the remote on gentoo,
