what would you like in particular for this? i plan to start on it now.

well, i would like ltmodem a dailup backup, udev, gcc 3.5.0(Gotta keep it l33t), reiser4 support, oh yeah and make sure the reiser4progs are the newest not like the last time where u had to write to the livecd...etc...that never worked lol i believe you were the only one that succeded , newest glibc, irssi a must, kernel looks good, and all the basics from the last cd

gcc wont be on. udev might be used, not sure yet.

Put on all the linux-wlan stuff.. I don't know how many people I deal with that have problems installing due to lack of wireless lan support, that must go in.

It should also be udev, have NAIM, because not everyone uses icq, some use aim.. eject command should be added, and thats about it.. keep everything the old one had, just update it and a add those few things. I'll post more if i can think of them.

(personally, I'd like bluetooth support, but thats extra.. so you don't need to mess with it)

Redeeman, a c compiler would be a nice bonus on your livecd ;]
If you don't want gcc + glibc, think about tcc + uclibc, or diet-libc

Tiny C Compiler is the fastest c compiler i ever seen(too bad it dosen't do any optimizations) http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/tcc/

well tcc is fine, but what about includes?
main reason is space. i like small cd's

Might be unessacery - but an inclusion of "msnlib" would be excellent, it'd mean I could talk to mates on the messenger protocol during times such as bootstrapping
