Good Sega MasterSystem/GameGear emulator for Linux?

Is there a good Master System/Game Gear emulator for Linux?

I have tried both MasterGear and SMSplus (SDL and not SDL version). The former has crappy sound, and i can't get sound to work on the last one.
In addition, joystick doesn't work on neither of them.

all i could say is give xmess or advancemess a try. i've never tried them for sms or gamegear emu but i'd say it's your best bet for now.

i believe sms is in there -- never checked -- but genesis is in there, for sure! check the docs and/or web page to double check.

*edit* also, check out PotatoSMS, a java emu. you must have java working with your browser, though, to use this. no joy support, too (which sucks.)

I came across this post while I was looking for a good SMS emulator with joystick support. However, I couldn't find one and after a while I ended up adding joystick support to a pre-existing emulator, dega. So I thought you'd like this.
