How to specify a DNS server with DHCP

For the past week my ISP has had some problems with their DNS servers and they stop working after about 15 minutes. So I would like to use different DNS servers. So how do I override the DNS servers that I get from DHCP with my own? Please help I need to fix this problem tonight.

just edit your /etc/resolv.conf

And to stop DHCP from overwriting /etc/resolv.conf, simply use dhcpcd_eth0="-R" in /etc/conf.d/net. Assuming you're using dhcpcd that is
