in make.conf x86 and in /etc/portage/package.keywords ~x86

Problems with emerge or ebuilds? Have a basic programming question about C, PHP, Perl, BASH or something else?

Hi,

i'd like to have a hole system compiled with testing pkgs, so ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" in make.conf.

That's ok, but in some case, if test pkgs give me some problems, i'd like to have them compiled in their stable release, so "category/packagename x86" in /etc/portage/package.keywords.

This doesn't work, because /etc/portage/package.keywords i usually used to do the opposite (x86 in make.conf - ~x86 in package.keywords).

Now, because i wouldn't mask (and of course unmask) each one manually, i wonder:

someone has a work around or get category/packagename x86 in /etc/portage/package.keywords working???!?!?!?!?!?!

TIA

that won't work, since keywords works like ACCEPT_KEYWORDS and doesn't override KEYWORDS

best bet would be to package.mask the trouble version
