CONFIG_PIIX_TUNING=y ?

I have a "problem" while configuring the kernel (2.4.26). I have to enable PIIX IDE support for my chipset and the help function tells me to enable CONFIG_PIIX_TUNING=y too. However I cannot find this option anywhere (not even in the raw .config-file). Does this option still exist or has it been merged into another file or whatever?
