Is anyone using VMware?

Becuase there is no rc.d directory, so it doesn't automatically install the VMware for me. My question is " is it possible to manually configure it?"

emerge vmware-workstation

does the trick very nicely. After that run vmware-config as root and add vmware to the default runlevel. That will start the vmware services when you boot your pc.

If you are using the ebuild you should not have that problem.
