I don't autoload them... all did was running the script, I didn't edit any thing!rkrenzis wrote:I got this problem when manuall inserting the vmware modules to be loaded at boot time. Apparently the vmware startup script doesn't like it when you autoload the modules.
So,:
1. If you have the modules listed to autoload on startup, remove them and run modules-update
2. Run /opt/vmware/bin/vmware-config.pl
And your problem should go away.
