Trouble emerging gnome-core

Hi,

I did an emerge gnome-base and I encontered this problem:

configure: error: libpng is required for gnome-core

I was pretty sure that libpng was emerged but I checked anyway with emerge --pretend libpng and it is installed:

[ebuild R ] media-libs/libpng-1.2.5 to /

Anyone know anything about this? I've searched the forums and google with no luck :|

...same here.

The first error is:

sed: can't red ./intl/po2tbl.sed.in: No such file or directory

Maybe a solution? Try:

emerge /usr/portage/media-libs/libpng/libpng-1.0.12-r1.ebuild

it works with that :
emerge /usr/portage/media-libs/libpng/libpng-1.0.12-r1.ebuild

what is the problem with libpng 1.2.5 ?

But on the other hand, are there any issues with using this older version of libpng?

Same problem here on the new libpng.

for now, just run `emerge =libpng-1.2.4` and try again

for specific packages, please file a bug report (but make sure it hasnt already been posted/fixed)
