Hello guys, i have a P3-700Mhz, 512MB Ram, 12GB HDD,(partitioned),T20, and i would like to get gentoo on my other partition of 2GB, dual bootable with my Win 2000 Pro. i have just dl'ded the min.Iso for gentoo.. thanks for the guidance.[/b] how should i proceed..?????????

This is a good first step.

Now burn it to CD, and see if you can boot from it.

Feel free to ask questions if you get stuck on any of the steps in the Gentoo Handbook

Ok, thanks for the reply. but can i have a dual boot with win 2000?? and will it work fine?

Yea, easily, just use LILO after installing gentoo

Use the gentoo handbook he just posted.

I printed it off when i installed
