Hi,
I've got several HD movies, all dubbed in Russian, but they do have a separate english audio track(ac3, dts or mkv). When i play only the movie, it runs smoothly(windowed or fullscreen) via xv or gl output drivers. But when i'm trying to do this:
Code: | mplayer Sleepy.Hollow.OAR.HD.DVDRip.720p.x264.Rus.mkv -audiofile Sleepy.Hollow.OAR.HD.DVDRip.720p.x264.Eng.ac3 |
- from time to time the video slows down, and whenever i fast forward, the audio track returns to the begining. How can i at least have a smooth audio/video stream? I've read several threads here but to no avail. If i missed something, please point to the right direction.
I use a core2duo 2,6GHz/2GB ram/ATI EAX1950 desktop, with ati binary drivers. I don't know what other relevant info i should post, please specify.
Thanks in advance! |

Use the appropriate tools for the video container format to merge in the extra audio tracks. (avimerge, mkvmerge, etc) Then you shouldn't run into these types of problems. _________________

Thanks a ton! That did the trick! I emerged media-video/mkvtoolnix and merged a 4.4GB mkv file in 12 minutes. |
