kaffeine + tvtime = high cpu usage by X

Hi,

Due to the Olympics, I sometimes run both kaffeine in DVB-T and tvtime showing composite on the same desktop. When this happens, tvtime becomes a bit choppy because X usage becomes very high (95% cpu). Any ideas what may be causing this?

I have absolutely no problems when either kaffeine or tvtime are rendered on their own (for ex when running on different desktops)
